Unfortunately allowing Safe Mode didn't modification anything.However, after going through all the configurations etc, I noticed some of my games were concealed - like Sims 2 Ultimate Collection (the a single that EA gave out with every development package and stuff pack in one file). So last evening (Foreign period) I down loaded that and it works flawlessly. I also downloaded Sims 3 (and all the growth packs I've earlier bought) and Sims 4.

They all downloaded great and there had been no issues.So whatever the machine issue is, it is usually only impacting the Sims 2 enlargement stuff packs.Thanks a lot for your help:-).
